   this is my first ever post so hi all =)

i want to get into some more psychedelic/trance jams ala 'metanoia' and 'sky moves sideways' by  porcupine tree, im sort of newish to prog and with such a wide databise on the archives, i didn't really know where to start! 

any recommendations that are similar to the above albums, or even just any band/album at all would be appreciated very much =)
