This a project I've started with a friend of mine a few months ago. For now it's only me(bass, some keys, some guitars) the other guy (guitar, piano, saxes) but we're looking for more musicians to join. The track that's up is a 12 minute free improvisation with overdubs, I ask you to listen to the full song if you're going to make any comments or express your opinion on the song. Composed music will be up later.

Who's Urgon and who's Gorgo?
Also I really love all those crazy Magma references in Rush Hour! The De Futura/Jannick Top bass riff and also Retrovision! Edited by Grimfurg - January 06 2009 at 09:24 |

Rush Hour: nice, but a bit too noisy in some bits. Nice bass work... But what did you do to each other at the end?
![]() Dance of the Normans: Could be a nice intermezze in an album. On it's own it's a bit childish I guess... Northwest Territories: the intro before the keyboards join reminds me of Krobak, take that as a compliment. Again I notice the bass, may I ask which bass you play on this - I love the sounds and the lows (a 5 string perhaps?). Apart from that, this is the best one of the three, composition and arrangement wise, but you probably already knew that yourselves. One day we may find you guys here in Avant or Post Rock I expect. And I noticed that there is three of you now? |
