I`m still living in the mid-sixteenth century I don`t use the internet as much as  a lot of guys here. Besides PA and my gmail account I only visit a few prog bands` official sites a few times every week in addition to maintaining my own crappy free website. I noticed the prog blog section here on PA does that mean I can write anything about prog bands here?

A blog is kind of like an on-line diary or the Captain's Log on Star Trek.  It can be like a thought of the day kind of thread.  A blog is meant to be updated daily, or at least periodically, and it allows for the person who is writing the blog to interact with the people who are reading the blog.  So yes, if you wanted to do a VB's "Band of the Day" blog where you provide your thoughts and feelings on various bands you can contain them all in one thread as a blog.

Well put, and I might add if you don't open up each post with "Captain's log stardate such and such"  it's not really a blog. Tongue

You might want to check out this lefty blog with multiple participants, unless you aren't a lefty:

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

I think a blog is a poo.  Isn't it? Confused

It's simply short for web log

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

The word "blog"was created by fusioning "log" and "blah-blah". Tongue
