Hey, not really fair, one band relying on brilliantly expressive guitar and the other , the sheer fury of percussive nirvana. But since this is sport and not art, give it to Camel in an overtime shootout

Toughest choice for me of the first round. They're so different from one another but equally enjoyable. I have to think more on this one.

Camel , nice soft Canterbury music...very good but MAGMA wins because they were unique and created a new kind of music
.....just try to find a MAGMA tribute band and Latimer doesn't have the scary eyes of C.Vander

It's all one tournament I've done with my friends and that's only the title. I just call it that since it has 32 of the most recognized and influential prog bands in it. It's not necessarily meant to be taken literally. I only call all of the polls under the same general title so that people who want to understand the reasoning behind these polls can. I also do that so that the polls/layouts have some organization (rather than a bunch of random polls and people accusing me of spamming).

Yeah, I've been turning over a couple things in my head. I think I'm going to tally up the scores sometime later this week after all the first round have been given a good chance to rack up some votes and start Round 2 this weekend or next week. Although it really all depends on how quickly everything goes. I also thought of getting the polls closed after so much time of the poll being existent, but that would require too much work and the extreme helpfulness of an administrator/collab. I'm pretty sure I'll just post the 2nd round once these first polls are harvested; and in the first post of every round, I'll post who won and with the exact scores I tallied.
