I'm looking for a site to download Maldoror - l'arbre-cimetiere. I've found fnacmusic.com, but I've never heard of them as they seem to be a site in France. Anyone familiar with them, i.e. are they legitimate ?

However, if you can't speak French, I think you'd better just go to a local store and ask them to order it, that's what I usually do. |

i WOULD GO WITH THE GENERAL RULE THAT IF THEY CHARGE YOU FOR DOWNLOADS THEY ARE PROBABLY LEGIT AND LEGAL
ITUNES IS A GREAT SITE TO GET MUSIC, BUT LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING THE MUSIC BUSNESS IS NO WAY EVEN CLOSE ON KEEPING TRACK OF MUSIC DOWNLOADS.
EXAMPLE. I COVERED A STEVIE WONDER TUNE ON MY LAST CD. WELL ALL MY CD'S ARE ON ITUNES. I NEVER WILL RIP OFF AN ARTIST SO FOR A THOUSAND CDS' IT COST ME 7CENTS A CED FOR THE LICENCE FROM STEVIE. TOTAL LIKK$125 AND I THINK THATS VERY RESONABLE.
THE DIGITAL DOWNLOAD LICENCE IS A TOTALLY SEPERATE THING BUT YOU PAY THE WRITER ABOUT THE SAME. HERE IS WHAT SURPRISED ME. WHEN YOUR REGESTIRNG FOR YOU DIGITAL DOWNLOAD LICENSE, THEY HAVE YOU PICK. DO YOU THINK YOU WILL HAVE 100 OR 2500 DOWNLOADS THIS YEAR. AND OF COURSE THEY CHARGE YOU ACCORDINGLY. NOW THAT TOLD ME ALOT, THEY DON'T HAVE A CLUE AND THEY DON'T TRACK IT. SO NATURALLY I WENT WITH 100. SAVED ME ACOUPLE HUNDRED DOLLARS, PLUS DIGITAL DOWNLOAD LICENCES EXPIRRE EVERY YEAR.
SO I WOULD NOT WORRY ABOUT IT UNLESS YOUR COOL AND WANT THE SONG WRITER TO GET THEIR MONEY

That's a dangerous assumption Joe, the Russian sites such as allofmp3 and mp3search charge for downloads and they are definitely not legal (despite their claims of legality they do not pay the artists - just ask Pendragon).
