The Galapagos Rock Experiment - Friday, March 30, 8pm-2am

The Experimental rock movement is showcased at galapagos art space 

with performances by some of new york’s most original groups. 

Featuring 

8pm -  Marco Cappelli  - solo electric / classical guitar with looping, electronics, and effects >>>

9pm - Cooper, Palkowski, & Shamir Trio – classical and contemporary
compositions arranged and composed for rock trio >>> 

10pm - Electric Kompany - complex contemporary music for Rock quartet >>>

11pm -  Do Shadows Savage?  Experimental Punk Rock Trio led by composer and guitarist, Alex Walker >>> 

12am - Swim Trio – improvisational trio with composers Nick Didkovsky, Gerry Hemingway, and Michael Lytle >>>  

1am -  Blarvuster  - Led by composer Matthew Welch, Blarvuster creates music inspired by avant rock, celtic, minimalist, and asian traditions

	Now how come the name of the beautiful islands that belong to my country (or the turtle species that only lives there, for that matter) are part of the name of this group? Could this be a miracle and somebody there has visited my land or something, or it was just becuase "it sounded cool"?
