'That was amazing...'

i saw spocks beard  in santa monica.that show goes for 3 hours and i was sitting on the side on the stage few feet away from neal morse .what a night!!!.

A couple of concerts stand out in my mind. Seeing Rush and Max Webster in 1977 at the Montreal Forum for $3.97 ( yes folks, the number's correct! ). The last 2 Peter Gabriel shows ( Robert Lepage productions ) were stunning. Steve Hackett at the Spectrum in Montreal in 2001.

I really like Tool (though someone should tell them their current logo looks like it says 'Fool'), and I bet live they're just sensational. One of the few heavy-prog bands I would pay good money to see.

    Peter Gabriel's 1982 tour (the one "Plays Live" was derived from), was absolutely incredible. The band entered in darkness, from the rear of the stadium. The only light was from the doors behind them. Peter brought up the rear with a marching bass drum, beating out the intro for "Rhythm of the Heat." The doors closed, and it was completely dark. Peter howled the beginning notes, and then a light hit him perched on top of a scaffolding.

During "Lay Your Hands on Me," he did a free fall into the audience. They held him up, and then pushed him back onto the stage.

"Biko" ... you have to go to a show to experience it.


I saw Santana in on their 20th anniversary tour. It was an outdoor venue, and a storm blew in. The lighting was flashing, and the power went out during "Oye Como Va." The drummers just kept going. After a while, the power came back on. Without missing a beat, Carlos picked up his guitar and continued on.

I was there too, that was a unique night for sure! I was upset that they didnt conclude the album, but it was a very good feeling the way the crowd sang the words when the power had been turned off on the band..

Roger Waters!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!  Saw him at the Tweeter Center in NJ a few weeks ago.

IQ at the Astoria on the Subterannea tour.Great show and they stayed and played all of The Last Human Gateway as an encore!

I saw two Camel shows in Cracow (Poland, dear progheads!) during their Harbour Of Tears and Rajaz tours.
