more pics from Erik's weekend in Paris : the famous Prog Concert last weekend was only a cover story. In fact Erik came to Paris to discover the REAL 'Da Vinci Code', to prove that 'Supper's Ready' was not written by Genesis, but by Leonardo Da Vinci.HPIM0724.jpg

the main proove was evidently in the good ol' Louvre and you might have guessed where...

Now evereybody wanders about her strange smile, in fact Mona L. was on a party and had just one mushroom too many. After a psychotic reaction she was transferred to ‘Willow Farm’ ‘ the famous mental health institut near Florence, where she wrote a lengthy epic poem ‘Suppers Ready’ which was then put into music by the proto prog band ‘Lenny & The Boys’. BTW Erik has good proof that Da Vinci eventually invented a musical device that is known nowadays as ‘The Mellotron”

HPIM0723.jpg

Just a tourist photo, no way... if you take the place where Erik sits and measure the distance to the Eiffel Tower in meters and divide the number by 244 you got the catalogue number of the of the ‘Foxtrott’ CD . Isn’t that strange!

More proof?

HPIM0727.jpg

For centurys noone understood the inscriptions on the obelisk.  Erik’s official transcript

“As Sure As Eggs Is Eggs has to be played in 7/8”,has brought finally the  truth to the world.Wink

WOW, Martin, looking at your pictures I desperately need to return to Paris in order to inhale that splendid atmosphere again and again, unforgettable Clap And nice idea to blend the pictures with words about Supper's Ready, my favorite symphonic prog track of all times Thumbs Up

By the way, Martin, your umbrella was on the level of ELP's Love Beach, cheap and pretty unstructured LOL !

Bern, that lizard t-shirt is from Aruba (where my Dutch wife was born), the lizard is called an 'iguana', a typical Arubian animal that is protected but unfortunately they often end in the soup ('soppi di iguana') ....

Wink
let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword
