I just got introduced to Akinetón Retard (the debut album) and it's great Thumbs Up. I hear a modern interpretation (defenitely not imitation) of King Crimson or Henry Cow. I can recommend this to everyone.
But I would like some help from you. What can you recommend me? What other bands play in the same vein as Akinetón Retard? What's next to discover?

Akinteon Retard are excellent. I recommended them several times previously.
A real gem from Chile. A mix of Larks era KC, the crazy sax playing of John Zorn and teh RIOesque sounds of intricate music, sudden changes of tempo, a little dissonance now and then.

Some other bands to start with:
(not necessarily sound alikes, but in the same spirit and probably bands you will like, given that you like AKineton)

French TV - The Violence of Amateurs, This is what we do http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_BAND.asp?band_id=597

John Zorn - Electric Masada (similar sax playing as Akineton)

Oh, and try also The Flying Luttenbachers - http://nowave.pair.com/luttenbachers/
Fukkeduk - Ornithozozy
Kruzenshtern & Parohod - their 2 albums http://www.parohod.net/index.html
And what about Exisimio - Carbono 14

There are plenty more, but this should be enough to start with.

Thanks Avestin.

That is an inetersting list. I already know (and like !!) Hoyry-Kone and Samla Mammas Manna. I will explore some of the suggestions you have done.
