Akinetón Retard...brilliant !! - Progressive Rock Music Forum

Akinteon Retard are excellent. I recommended them several times previously.

A real gem from Chile. A mix of Larks era KC, the crazy sax playing of John Zorn and teh RIOesque sounds of intricate music, sudden changes of tempo, a little dissonance now and then.

	I just got introduced to Akinetón Retard (the debut album) and it's great . I hear a modern interpretation (defenitely not imitation) of King Crimson or Henry Cow. I can recommend this to everyone. But I would like some help from you. What can you recommend me? What other bands play in the same vein as Akinetón Retard? What's next to discover?

	Thanks Avestin. That is an inetersting list. I already know (and like !!) Hoyry-Kone and Samla Mammas Manna. I will explore some of the suggestions you have done.
