Topic: What non-prog rock subgenre do you like the most? Posted: June 08 2006 at 17:20 |
What is your favourite rock subgenre?
I am tied between Rock&Blues (LEd Zeppelin), Classic Rock (Deep Purple), and Hard Rock (Led Zeppelin Again!)

Classic Rock with me, even when Classic is more a status achieved by certain bands than a sub-genre of Rock per se.

I should have put metal, but metal isn't exactly "rock", so I put hard rock instead.
I don't think death metal growling rock&rolls ;)

British Blues is the closest thing, in my opinion... Bakerloo, Ten Years After, Groundhogs, Fleetwood Mac, Billy Kenkins Blues Colective, Cream... the list goes on.
