hahhaha... speaking of excuses....love the carl rowe quote this week about Bush's APPROVAL ratings....


to paraphrase (don't have it in front of me)

his poll numbers are down because of apprehension over the situation in Iraq...


duh...

plus the poll was whether you approve of the job he his doing.. not whether you feel good about the current situation.  Having your head in the sand (denial????) is the mindset that allowed 9-11 to happen.
