I'm going home to Wisconsin to visit my dysfunctional family. It should be fun. Of course I plan on gorging on lots of turkey and stuffing, pie and an assortment of snacks and appetizers before the meal.
If only this blasted snow storm would let up. We're getting socked pretty heavy right now.
So I depart you with a Happy Thanksgiving to all of us belonging to the good ol' USA(2nd best holiday, behind Christmas in my opinion) and with these words of wisdom......
Gobble,gobble,gobble,gobble,gobble,gobble,gobble,gobble,gobb le,gobble!!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
P.S...just because you're paranoid.....don't mean we're not after ya!!.....Peter!

Canada celebrates Thanksgiving too, but on Oct. 11th, BTW.
Happy Yanksgiving, navel-gazing Americanos!

Happy Belated Thanksgiving, Peter
I will be making the traditional roast turkey with cornbread stuffing, cranberries (fresh off the truck, anyway), roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and sweet potato pie. Anyone here is welcome, as long as you don't mind a pair of spoiled bulldogs staring at you like sub-saharan refugees while you eat

Aaaaahhhh!
Prog Archives's first thanksgiving - brings a tear to the eye!
Seriously though, from a bitter Brit, who doesn't get a day off work today - to all my lucky turkey & cranberry stuffed American fellow prog-holes, a sincere.....
Happy Thanksgiving
BTW, James, thanks for the invite - I'll bring my 2 cats - it'll give your dogs something to do while we stuff ourselves.

And to my seething vegetarian friends out there: I have intelligence reports that indicate my turkey would have become a terrorist if he's been allowed to continue. I must do my patriotic duty, sad though the prospect may be. And my fingers are freezing from reaching inside it to yank out out the entrails.
