I'm trying to keep within the prog-esque genre but im branching out into
my
foundations a little bit

•The Recieving End of Sirens "Between The Heart & Synapse"
---This is very punkish but has some amazing concepts and very
intricate and complicated vocal harmonies
---very layered compositions, 3 singers, 3 guitarists, bassist, drummer,
and synths all flow together like nobody else could do.

•RX Banits "The Resignation"
---Again very punkish but has some amazing drumming and guitar work
-----actually it has some of the best drumming i've ever heard in my life
---sometimes has some blunt political lyrics which i do not much like
---The cd begins more punkish but by the end its very jazzy (as i've been
told)
•3 "Wake Pig", "Summercamp Nightmare", "Paint By Number" (i like them
alot )
---"Paint By Number" is their first cd, very poppy but still very well
composed music with greaet rhythms and guitar work and vocal work.
---"Summercamp Nightmare" is the second cd, and its alot different than
paint by number, very space-rock feeling
---"Wake Pig" is the newest and is heavier, more metalish. Excellent
guitar work and drumming.
---Overall i have heard them compared to Coheed & Cambria. So if you
like Coheed look into 3, if not...look into 3

• The Sound Of Animals Fighting "Tiger & The Duke"
---very "weird" cd, more of an EP, has 9 tracks 5 of which are completely
electronic interludes that connect the 4 "real" songs.
---very fast guitar and drumming, unique vocalist
---occasional screaming
---often heard them compared to the mars volta.
Oh I don't know [incert activity] but I did listen to a prog album last night.
