I wanted to know if there is any Peter Gabriel, or at least Hackett era video, either on dvd or bootleg that can be found on file sharing programs or somethin somethin.

I have two. One is whole performance played for Belgian TV in 1972. Great stuff and great played too.

Second is the concert in Rainbow Theatre in 1973. Absolutely the must for all Genesis fans. Great show and atmosphere.

I have a VHS bootleg from Belgian TV in 1972/73. The quality is ok, but of course the interviews are all dubbed in French.

There is, as others have said, a DVD with footage shiot at Shepperton studios and some footage from US TV ( I think) I've not been able to find it recently, but have seen it in the past on a German on line music shop. If anyone can find that site again please let ME know to..

Cheers!!

www.notape-store.com

They have a DVD with parts of 3 live shows, excellent quality
for being of those days (1973). I'd had a VHS cassette before,
and it was much worse. They advertise it on this site now and
then. To see Gabriel singing those lyrics and the whole
fabulous visual presentation makes you realize they always
were a visual band, it's like the missing piece of the puzzle,
very moving. They're also nice people at the website, when you
buy something, they gladly send a "gift" with it, a VCD or CD of
another show. The Paris TV show I got that way, which is great,
but they superimposed silly 70s psychedelic effects over the
screen and senseless slow motion shots. Still, a historical
treasure.

I think those interviews are not from the Belgian TV! They should be from the French TV

all: I have 5 different DVD, probably all bootlegs (although one I bought from a chainstore).

' are from the Gabe Years and one from the Bruford Tour

There are footage (Shepperton a.o.) that Ihave in double on some of the bootlegs
