La Düsseldorf was the band that issued from Neu after Michael Rother left, but still with the Dinger Brothers Klaus & Thomas and the drummer Hans Lampe. Their first record 'La Düsseldorf was released in 1976. La Düsseldorf kept elements of Neu : the tongue in cheek humour, the simple monoton (industrial) rhythms but introduced a rockier edge. On side one of the vynil was one  long track 'Düsseldorf' reminding Neu and Kraftwerk with some ironic local-patriotic sound effects (fan shouts of the local icehockey and football clubs, and airport noises (the cover is a pic of Düsseldorf Airport). If you like Neu and Kraftwerk you should check out this one.

	Agreed, a fine album and an interesting continuation of Dinger's side of Neu! 75. Their other albums are nowhere near as good (from what I remember).
