It’s a wrap for Bakullama. We really enjoyed making music. Can’t think of anything more rewarding.
Reviews of “broken hearts & troubled mind” and “Sleepers” greatly appreciated. We are listed under eclectic Prog or Prog adjacent. Thanks! Here is a Bandcamp link listen for free. https://bakullama1.bandcamp.com/album/new-2025-broken-hearts-troubled-mindshttps://bakullama1.bandcamp.com/album/new-2025-broken-hearts-troubled-minds Edited by Valdez - 2 hours 38 minutes ago at 09:20 |

Hi,
Taken from the neighboring board ... I want to listen to it again, as it was nice, and different, and to think that the quaint, small town in Eastern WA can produce some nice stuff ... I might have to move back to the area ... I'm glad to see some nice work from the area beyond the country and western thing. Bakullama Sleepers 2024 Experimental stuff based on guitar sounds and on the ambient sound, but very fine work here and not something that you often find from a guitar, which is to get into a song right away ... here, they seem to not be interested in the song routine, and they have a couple of them, and it is a rather experimental sound with various effects. Actually nice to listen to. Stuff that is often thought as a bit weird, usually has some surprises, and this one is that. Some far out stuff though. |

Yes there are a ton of cowboys and farmers here. Mostly wheatfields and wineries. Mumford and sons played here a few years ago… Chicago and Molly hatchett played the county fair. (Chicago put on a stellar show) . I was born and raised in Rosemead California and I graduated from high school in 1975 so I don’t have the country leanings much. Moved to eastern Washington in 2008. Actually love it here. Wish I had made the move earlier in life. Thanks Mosh!

Hi, Lived in Pendleton for 2.5 years, and I had a good time. Several friends from Walla Walla that disappeared over the years. Also knew the Burke family (the native Americans) who had a wake at the King's Table I was managing at the time, as those folks had been customers in there for a long time. I'm betting that some folks from those days will probably remember me some ... I'm in Vancouver WA, btw.
