    Posted: October 27 2024 at 10:24
I made this poll out of my choices for David's Your favourite Nordic prog music albums?.
Due to space limitations, I put all of the Samla Mammas Manna projects chosen by me albums together in on line as "or" options. But it can be "and" as well. And I combined two at the end. I left off Savage Rose because even though I evaluated that for PA, it's not one I have played as much as the others.

Duplicating my list here just because I find polls more likely to lead to some discussion/ commentary, and recommendations than topics in the top ten lists.

Älgarnas Trädgård - Framtiden är ett svävande skepp, förankrat i forntiden (Sweden, 1972)
Anna Sjalv Tredje - Tussilago Fanfara (Sweden, 1977)

Causa Sui - Euporie Tide (Denmark, 2013)

Sigur Rós - Ágætis byrjun (Iceland, 1999)
Susanne Sundfør - Ten Love Songs (Norway, 2015)

Most of these I don't know very well, but I like the Kultivator album. I put a puzzle into my nose and it unfolded itself into sinus caverns filled with sticks and cheese logs.

Glad to, David, especially as I often encourage people to make their own lists particularly when they like none of mine or think things "missing", and there already was set topic for doing just that. And because I took my list from your topic, which in turn I had based on (expanded on those) my choices in Paul's Nordic band -- not albums -- topic, it only seemed right to acknowledge sources and inspiration.

I hope more people list their album choices in your topic.

By the way, I noticed that Goat's Commune is in your list in your Nordic topic. That's a really good one, although I opted to go for World Music at the time of the poll (I was wondering which to go for).

That would be nice and especially easy for those who already have made a list of bands in Paul's Your Top 12 Nordic Prog Bands .

I like best Commune as more diverse and rocky, and by the way, I enjoy much Goat's freaky, energetic, colourful, exotic and spiritual show at their concerts (on videos oploaded on Youtube).
