So that leaves out Yes, Pink Floyd, Genesis and ELP obviously. ;)

Here's a bunch that come to mind for me in no order:

Kit Watkins  (Happy the Man, Camel)
Eddie Jobson (UK, Roxy Music, Curved Air, Jethro Tull, etc.)
Dave Sinclair (Caravan, Hatfield and the North, Matching Mole)
Dave Stewart (Egg, National Health)
Mike Ratledge (Soft Machine)
Francis Monkman (Curved Air, Sky)
Vangelis (Aphrodite's Child, solo)
Tomas Bodin (Flower Kings, etc.)
Martin Orford (IQ)
Mark Kelly (Marillion)
Kerry Minnear (Gentle Giant)
Hugh Banton (VDGG)
Richard Barbieri (Porcupine Tree)
Vittorio Nocenzi (Banco)
Geddy Lee (Rush)
Mike Pinder (Moody Blues)
Neal Morse (Neal Morse Band, Spock's Beard)
Ryo Okomuto (Spock's Beard)
Guy LeBlanc (Nathan Mahl, Camel)
Tom Brislin (Yes, Kansas, Camel, etc)
Steve Walsh (Kansas)
John Evan (Jethro Tull)
Chris Buzby (echolyn)
Tony Pagliuca (Le Orme)
Tony Kaye (Yes, Badger) Oh wait. I said no Tonys. Whoops.

Ok, I know there must be some other obvious or well known ones and plenty of great ones I missed. Who are they?

I'm not sure how Jordan Rudess (or any of the other DT guys) passed me by and I wasn't even thinking of fusion. Jan Hammer is another one.

Jurgen Fritz from Triumvirat. But if I put him on there I'd also have to have Herb Schildt from Starcastle. Wink I don't know the others on your list though. But speaking of Starcastle I also could have had Oliver Wakeman on there but forgot him too.

Ken Hensley has to be mentioned. Because he is too often overlooked as the maestro of the heavy prog usage of the Hammond organ. Rest in peace, maestro.

I know, but it's illegal to not mention both when citing Kansas.

It is also necessary to mention Jukka Gustavson, who made a significant musical contribution to the history of jazz-rock. Alongside Pekka Pohjola and Jim Pimbroke, he formed Wigwam, with which he made an inestimable contribution to the development of the Finnish and European jazz-rock scene during the early seventies. In this delightful footage from 1978, Jukka Gustavson is performing with the Ilkka Rantamäki Group.
