Its excellent, precise and very tidy... other than the hand clapping that was distracting.

Excellent musician, The Cocoon is one of my favorite albums. The collaboration with Ben Levin in Lunar Room is a highlight.

I saw Haken a few months ago. Richard impressed me. I adored his guitar tones.

^Lucky you. I like jazz so I'm quite impressed with these new songs. His tone is superb.

Richard Henshall has released Mu Vol. 1 today. All instrumental, 4 songs, 22 minutes. I really like it, could be on my top five AOTY list. Anyone else care to comment?
Will it be added on his PA page? |

Hi,
Very nice stuff ... and beautifully played ... also nice to see a different guitar being used ... I'm starting to get tired of the Fender/Gibson thing, more or less ... and this guy ends up using a different instrument and plays it nicely.

Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

For me it was a disappointment coming from his first album. Still good music, but not as special and interesting as the debut in my opinion.

^I think the Mu series (so far) is equal to his debut. Mu is all instrumental with more of a fusion vibe.
