Miles Davis - Bitches Brew I do consider Davis' Fusion albums as Progressive Music, and Bitches Brew is definitely my favourite of these too, even I'm also quite fond of Live/Evil and Dark Magus.

To be frank, I am not even a quarter versed in Miles' discography and BB is put up once in a blue moon to polarize friends and neighbors lol He is definitely progressive in the true sense of the word. I am expecting a mention(s) for those 2, Big Fun, JJ, KOB, Silent Way, Aghartha, Spain maybe?

How did I miss them?! Yeah, that one is the 1! Don't know the album or most of what they do, but that album cover is so sickening and bad taste I don't want to listen to it! Is this something DT fans tend to agree on??

Most D albums: Dead Can Dance. Here's a timeless classic from Into the Labyrinth. Miles Davis is pretty much up there and Al Di Meola not far behind. |

No, most DT fans don't care as much for Systematic Chaos. I'm an outlier on this one. I think most DT fans lean more closely to their favorite being among Images and Words, Awake, Metropolis Part 2, or Six Degrees.

Yes, having Systematic Chaos as a favorite is unique, but so is having Awake as favorite (like me). You are right about the other three (although SDOIT was never a favorite of mine, just a decent effort).

I was shocked to see Systematic Chaos, and The Astonishing also getting mentions😳Awake does little for me but I know it’s pretty popular. It’s Images And Words for me though, such a great sounding album😎 So: Dream Theater - Images & Words Deexpus - The King Of Number 33 |

^ some people like The Astonishing including me. Its actually listenable compared to some of the tehnical mish mash of so many of their albums. I don't listen to much by them nowadays but would probably go for Octavarium first followed by Six Degrees and Awake after that. I also love the EP A Change Of Seasons. They nailed the prog metal thing on the title track.
