I've noticed some bands listed on PA that have their members from different countries say "Various" and some say "Multi-National". This lack of consistency kinda bugs me. xD Is there a difference?

I think Multi-National is the better description and from what I remember, was the original way of describing acts with personnel from more than one country. I think the less self-explanatory 'Various' has crept in through the back door and should be amended if possible...

Standardization is good.

FWIW, I see the distinction as Various = Members of various countries from all over but living/working in a single country, where as Mulitnational = Members working from their own country to contribute to the whole (modern technological options) project, or fly in and out to record their bits.

I think Mulitnational is suitable for what I think PA is trying to say.

Quote Members of various countries from all over but living/working in a single country,

Yea, but in that case the country in which the members are working is the one on the label. Examples:
Tai Phong (Vietnam, France)
Asia Minor (Turkey, France)
Asfalto (Argentina, Spain)
Santana (USA, Nicaragua, Mexico et al.)

I looked in the drop-down box for the country filter of the top 100 list to see both "Various" and "Multi-National" listed among the countries. I then applied the "Various" filter to produce the top 92 albums of all recording types. Every album except #76 ("Boundless Eternity, Hereafter Torment" by Prefers To Hide In The Dark) was by "Various Artists" (Concept albums & Themed compilations, Tributes, or Label Samplers) which is not the same as "Multi-National". It would seem that the application of "Various" to "Multi-National" groups was a mistake.
