Recently, somone dredged up my OVER poll from last March: which is here:
...which reminded me I meant to do an opposite UNDER poll, and never got around to it. SO, here it is. Included are the titles in my library with UNDER in the title, plus a couple more I knew of. I also included related words with UNDER as a portion (like UNDERNEATH, and UNDERGROUND) so long as it has the right connotation of being "beneath/below", (so no "understand" songs). MULTIPLE IS ON! again, so pick all your faves. Edited by zwordser - July 11 2022 at 13:10 |

Since "What Are You Eating? - "Under Where?" is not an option, I'm going with Caravan - "Nine Feet Underground". ;)

You had me when you said DIANA KRALL! "I've Got You Under My Skin" is one of her very finest moments--live and studio versions.

If I search my iTunes library for 'under', my personal favorite is probably Brooklyn Owes The Charmer Under Me by Steely Dan, but since I doubt anyone else would vote for that one, I'd like to cast my vote to/add to the list Can You Understand by Renaissance.

I'm guessing one of those will get the most votes. Personally, I hope Caravan wins.

Maybe should have included Brooklyn..., but that was the only part of the of the title I saw when it came up on my 'under' search; the rest of the title is in parentheses. I think there's a good chance it would get more votes as Steely Dan has some well-rated albums here on PA. A handful of "Understand" songs including that by Renaissance did come up, but I didn't include them in the poll (see my comment about it above).
