The penultimate week of RAC continues with 2001, and I will be casting a vote for my beloved Flower Kings. What about you?

My top five from this list:

1. Toxicity
2. Fine Day to Exit
3. Last Fair Deal
4. Verspetine
5. Recordings

And, yes, again there are a lot of albums from this year I prefer that are not in this selection.

Odd that you choose a compilation album of Yes instead of their album Magnification of this year, but maybe you were afraid it would harvest too many votes? It would indeed have gotten my vote. Now it goes to Björk - great album, and one of the first where I don't get tired of her singing/yelling...

Not of this World. Brilliant album, perhaps ignored a bit because it followed the even more brilliant Masquerade Overture.

I have to admit, I totally forgot about 'Magnification'. Otherwise it would have absolutely been featured. Big smile

THE NU METAL!!!
P.S. - Taking into account the orchestral version of Elect The Dead, a place for Serj Tankian on PA wouldn't be a scandal, IMO
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

I don’t know if it’s Mandela Effect, but I swear System of a Down used to be in PA. I personally think both SoaD and Serj’s solo material are prog, but I guess a lot of people here would probably disagree.

The orchestral arrangement of Elect the Dead by John Psathas is pretty damn awesome. He’s an awesome composer, and is also someone I consider prog.

I'm afraid it's just you and me thinking so, and probably Tankian himself.

I would've voted for Rick Wakeman's Two Sides of Yes album, but seeing as he's not here, I'll vote for Yes instead. Smile
