RAC #1/3 for this week, 19.03-26.03 will be dedicated to 2007, a pretty interesting and strong year for prog rock in my years, so let's see which is your favorite album of the 15 'random' ones I have picked, fellow forum users.
Please vote and comment! As much as I enjoy most of the records I have included, it is impossible for me not to vote for my favorite Porcupine Tree album (which I can surely predict will be the winner in this poll)

Not great.

Morse for me.

Ultimately Anekdoten again. The Dear Hunter is great except that I don't like their vocals. Fear... left me disappointed, Nil Recurring is somewhat better but not among their best.

Went with Porcupine Tree here.  Systematic Chaos surely was....

There are two albums on this list that I really should have - by Hevy Devy and Phideaux...

My favourite from this year is Dark Passion Play by Nightwish.

Many great albums from 2007, it's very difficult.

Fear of A Blank Planet, Doomsday Afternoon, Night, In Rainbows, What Have We Sown, Rapid Eye Movement,

I'll have to og with Gazpacho's Night, barely over FOABP. Night is their best album and a great piece of work.

I haven't heard Sola Scriptura, but based on my experience with Neal Morse I'm doubtful it would beat the other albums.

The Flower Kings. The Sum of no Evil is a really good album that I still enjoy very much.

I can't believe that Doomsday Afternoon is already 14 years old...
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

From the list I like the Dream Theater. Not their best but a solid album. Marilyn has appeared in several of your polls. Is that the 'random' part?

I prefer these in 2007 to what is listed: Anti-Depressive Delivery, Riverside, or Seiges Even.

I almost voted for Marilyn Manson. It was a bit of a toss-up between that and Beardfish, but I gave the nod to Beardfish.

First vote for that awesome Galahad record!

From this list I'm picking Anekdoten. The Flower Kings, Phideaux, and Beardfish would be next.

A couple more from 2007 of interest:
Ritual - The Hemulic Voluntary Band
Black Bonzo - Sound of the Apocalypse
Puppet Show - The Tale of Woe
Oblivion Sun - Oblivion Sun
Din Within - Awaken the Man
Conqueror - 74 giorni
Anima Morte - Face the Sea of Darkness
D.F.A. - Kaleidoscope
