Second RAC of the week - 1993, a strange year in terms of musical releases, far away from being my favorite. However, I am very certain about my favorite album from that year - 'Vemod' by Anekdoten. What is yours? Vote and comment!

Tool, Anekdoten and PT are my favourites here, although there are several other albums I like a lot. There’s really very little in it between these three, and it depends on the day and my mood which I prefer. I’ve gone for Tool, because I suspect it won’t get many votes. 🤪

Some very good bands and some that never "clicked" with me. Some of the good ones didn't produce their stand-out album here. Dead Can Dance and Rush are OK and I very much like IQ's Ever, but this album always missed something to my ears (that indefinite "something" I cannot put a finger on...). From this list I find Jurassic Shift from the Ozrics actually the most engaging album; they get my vote.

None of these albums is really outstanding but many are very good. Out of Dead Can Dance, Primus, Bjork, Anekdoten, and the Ozrics I'll go for Dead Can Dance, just about.

Ozrics > DCD

No really great records for me in '93, highest Gnosis ranking was an 11 for X-Legged Sally - Killed By Charity

There are some gems here: Dead Can Dance, Death, Primus, Bjork, Anekdoten, but I think the most innovative of them all was Cynic "focus". It's probably not my favourite on the list, but the rest will get some love anyway.
