You didn't expect seeing these two facing off each other in a poll, did ya? Two of the worst received albums on PA by two of the most iconic bands in rock music. Which do you prefer of these supposed stinkers? I can easily go with Floyd's unfairly overlooked, in my opinion, album.

They're both decent 3-star albums for me, and Love Beach deserves more love, so I chose the last option. Smile

The Final Cut (as I discussed in another thread) only has one listenable song (Not Now John) IMHO.
At least Love Beach has Memoirs of an Officer and a Gentleman, 'Canario and The Gambler.
Thank you for supporting independently produced music

In addition to Not Now John, The Gunners Dream and The Final Cut are pretty good songs IMHO

For me The Final Cut is just an extension to the Wall with sort of the same stuff. I like the wall hence I like TFC. Love beach I simply don't like.

Well both sound completely atypical but... Love Beach is more fun?

Probably the final cut but I haven't heard it in a long time so no vote. I'm actually not that familiar with love beach anyway.

Within a (very) modest frame of expectations, I can hear and accept both. As for the cover, well, TFC has a weak cover, but LB has a really bad one, so it's a natural loser.

The Final Cut, easily. Even though they did much better albums, this one is still rather good. It's got some really great songs.

Love Beach is at least funny in a so-bad-it's-good way, whereas The Final Cut is just a totally joyless, whiny dirge. I wouldn't put on either out of my own free will.
