I really don't like Iron Maiden in general, but Brave New World is pretty good.

It's damn beautiful but now that I think of it it's so melancholic and sad, probably the most sorrowful PT release.

A pretty strong return. But also for me, Maiden were never a big favorite.

Brave New World is one of the best come back albums and if you ask me best later day Iron maiden album. Some may disagree with me, but I don't find what they did after BNW that interesting. Highlights are few.

Very hard to decide this time. Many of the albums listed were my first I heard of them: King Crimson, Spock's Beard, Fates Warning, PT's Lightbulb Sun, and Transatlantic obviously. Sentimentality is making it hard for me to make up my mind.

My vote goes for Fates Warning. That keyboard howl at the beginning and end of the album just tears my heart open. It's a great album to listen to when I feel melancholy.

Well, the point is to have some really great albums, and probably some not so very well known. But I generally stick to more 'popular' prog albums because more people would come here and cast their vote. And the outcomes of these are always interesting! [However, not too unpredictable LOL]
