Hi there! I just released my first album, Drain, under the name RATAN. It has a very similar sound to Tool, who are classified as Experimental/Post Metal on Prog Archives. Hope you like it.

Bio:
RATAN is an instrumental prog band from Seattle inspired by the odd time signatures and evolving song structures of Tool. RATAN's debut album, Drain, features themes and motifs that transform and reappear throughout the 49-minute trip. The majority of the album is in 17/8 time with varying note groupings, simultaneously anchoring and differentiating each riff. It was recorded as a single continuous song, with each track on the album flowing from the previous and into the next.

Line up:
Dillon Cower: Guitar, bass, arrangement.
