I thought about including a "other" option, but then I realized how unlikely it is that anyone's favorite would be someone other than these 5. I mean I guess it's possible but suffice it to say I'd be shocked.

I see people have been voting, but not posting anything. It was a joke obviously about being shocked if anyone had a different favorite. Most people on here probably do. Yes and Genesis have been long time favorites of mine, but aren't in my top 5 right now. They've both had lengthy stretches at #1 in the past though.

It's a toss between Engelbert Humperdinck and Kajagoogoo for me. Voted for T-Rex.

I've just heard that big hit Too Shy, but good choice with T Rex. The Slider and Electric Warrior are both all time classic albums and Marc Bolan is an all time poetic melodic song writer. Truly great and underrated band imo.

in the Just For Fun thread it should be unanimous Zappa, clearly.

Haha, really good point. I just listened to The Grand Wazoo earlier this afternoon and other than For Calvin it's a ridiculously good album. Not his most fun though, that would be We're Only in it for the Money, Apostrophe, Joe's Garage, something like that.

I know you love The Album lol. For me their best album is For Girls Who Grow Plump in the Night, that's like one of the best albums ever imo. All of Caravan's first 7 albums are really good.
