Helmut Koellen-40 Years Later

   This Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017 marks 40 years since the passing of musician/singer/songwriter Helmut Koellen. Even though I never met him, I feel I kind of know him, I think through his music-there is not a day that passes that I don't think of him in some way. 
40 years is quite some time. I feel quite strongly that his early death must not eradicate the appreciation of the wonderful music he left behind, with Triumvirat, Jail, and his solo album. I've tried in a modest way to help keep the flame alive with articles and postings. Let's all make sure that he is properly remembered and honoured for what he accomplished in the music world. It is the least we can do, really, for such a sincere and devoted artist that he was. RIP.
