Much though I love that Camel track, it has to be Floyd by a whisker. It's the best thing Floyd ever did.

^I agree, although I'm not big on Camel that is one of the few songs I actually really like from them.

Exactly this
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Floyd. Not in the same league.

Camel, one of their best tracks. At the time, with the band changing styles, it was a piece that recalled Moonmadness

Me too. I love Floyd, and it's a very close call, but Camel takes my vote.

Echoes is one of the most mythic songs from Floyd, or even prog in general. On the other hand, even though I have heard it a few times, I just can't remember anything from the Camel track... and when I have come back to it given that it's usually well beloved, it's the same, I find it forgettable and won't remember anything from it later on.

Floyd for sure.

I generally prefer Camel over Pink Floyd, but (...) in the context of the "Echoes" clash? No. Floyd's Echoes are untouchable.
