So vote for the best album in  the "far-out" department.

Flying Teapot and Tago Mago are far best trippy albums on the list.
Flying Teapot is a nice, solar trip, while Tago Mago is a dark, so called "bad trip" as a style of progressive psychedelia; both equally amazing albums, though.
I clicked on Flying Teapot.

I could go with any of the first three: Gong, Can, or PF. Went with Gong just to make it interesting...

A bunch of truly fantastic albums, not a dud among themThumbs Up. My vote went to A Saucerful of Secrets, my favourite PF album hands down - with Third as a runner-up.

LSD doesn't always mean "far-out" (Kid A for example...at least in my eyes), but in this case, i choose the Floyd yet again.

If it comes to trip, Saucerful of Secrets is THE TRIP (for me). It doesn't mean that the other four aren't, but Set The Controls for The Heart Of The Sun and the title track do the job.
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

It's between Soft Machine and Amon Duul II, decided to go with the latter.

Tanz! the night away.
