David, how's the Karate (fears it maybe a different Martial Art)?

I think you just boil some water and add tea, James

it is karate (Kenpo to be exact), but actually I haven't taught in about 3 years cause I've been in Pilates teacher training which is grueling, complicated and time-consuming.  Thanks for asking though, I do still love martial arts.

That's not the issue.  I put the kettle on, walk away, it finishes boiling and by the time I've remembered, it needs re-boiling. LOL

Ah, my memory did remember things correctly.  I have no idea what Kenpo is.  It sounds like a Japanese avant-prog band.

I always feel weird adding artists on FB, so I don't, unless I've met them IRL or they add me.

Same, but  I caved and added Don Anderson
Glad I did too!

And seriously, NZ sucks

Two members of Mediaeval Baebes added me and I have no idea why.  I think it's because of Kavus Torabi but I could be wrong.

The ones I feel weird about are adding the ones you're not sure are real, or not.  There's quite a few fan-run pages.  Like for Hammill.

I add a lot of artists on FB.

Wow I've missed a lot the past seven pages.  Maybe it's for the best anyways

I tried youtubing kenpo and the guy wouldn't shut up so I stopped.

What's the difference between kenpo and karate? Just the region of origin?

it's a Sino-Japanese art, a blend of the early Chinese animal styles with Japanese karate and jujutsu variations

June, if I'm not mistaken Kenpo is an umbrella term for a number of different martial arts that started in China and migrated to Japan, like jujutsu.

Ninja'd.
^That's ironic.

karate is the pure Okinawan/Japanese form, Kenpo is the Chinese influence on karate (basically Smile)

I watched a documentary on the Portland noise scene. Not much of it was good and the musicians struck me as incredibly immature people.

Isn't their Kendo as well, or am I imagining this?

So how good was Jaden Smith in Karate Kid?

I presume Kenpo is less common and that you were taught by a Japanese/Chinaman, David?

Did you sort your issue out in the end, June?

No details required, just curious.
