I really dislike the euphemism of 'letting the cuts expire'. The action constitutes a tax hike. If you believe in it be honest and call it what it is.

Obama wants tax revenue without being known for the largest tax hike in recent memory (I hear history a lot, but I'm not so sure that's true).

How does the libertarian thread feel about this? The WSJ commenters are on their high horses, as usual, but as far as I'm concerned she's practically an American hero. I have no sympathy for the bank losing money on this because if you screw up the paperwork, the bank will happily destroy you. So if they screw up the paperwork they don't suddenly get to pretend that it's not a big deal. She managed to, by herself, turn against them a system that's designed to confuse and entrap ordinary people. 

However, it's really sketchy that the windows are boarded up in the picture, so maybe there's more to this story than the reporter is willing to tell us, this version got her on the front page and everything.
