Simply because the albums are easier to find when the artists are all listed in alphabetical order, unlike on the Prog Line channel where they're in random order.

Okay, I see what you mean now. I'm featuring all 266 albums from the Prog Line channel on this blog in alphabetical order so you'll know where to find them when they've all been added. Prog Line specialises in featuring some of the most obscure albums in the world of prog. I don't know any of the albums in the current "M" list, so I have a lot of listening to do.

I like Clivage very much, but would much rather sit down to some Shakti or even Popol Vuh. Oφphoi's Bardo is also pretty cool. Edited by BrufordFreak - May 11 2021 at 08:17 |

Magic Carpet's eponymous 1972 album is very good too, if you like your music served up hot and spicy.

The singer sounds like he inhaled the entire contents of a helium balloon (in a Rush) before recording this album.

Thankfully, this is the English version, so it gets a good solid 4-star rating from me, against expectations. Life Can Be Like Music |

^ Thanks for the recommendation. Mirthrandir sounds good to me from listening to the preview, and I'll give the whole album a listen in a few days time. I like the histrionic, over-the-top singer. He reminds me somewhat of the unforgettable David Byron of Uriah Heep.

1975: MERLIN, SWARA, ILOR & FRIENDS - Cosmic Kraut Experience (Krautrock Multi-National) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?
The descriptive album title speaks for itself really..... It's Cosmic, it's Classic Krautrock, and it's a Psychedelic Experience without the aid of any drugs. It's also interesting to note that the album was recorded in the Progredelic Studios in Ilorland, wherever that is. Forth Experience |
