So my mother didn't buy any alcohol... I'm relying on my brother to bring some tomorrow.

Fail.

What does one do with a Pink Floyd compilation album?

Stores it in the CD tower and says to uncle that it was listened to and enjoyed thoroughly.

I do love the Floyd but I have an irrational hate of compilation albums.

It's like someone buying me a Magma or VdGG compilation.  I have all the studio albums on CD so I really wouldn't need a compilation album.

I also, however, have a dislike for them.  The people who produce them quite often ruin them by putting tracks in a silly order or fade out tracks or just do silly stuff like somehow screw with the mixing and make the tunes sound flat.

Band/artist made compilations are better but still I avoid them.

James:

Sources indicate that the show was professionally filmed and will be released as a DVD.

I truly hope it's released as this sounds awesome.

Hopefully I'll be able to hear the orchestra on it too.

Two complaints though:

1. why stick the keyboard player there... argh!  You're blocking the view of Christian!
2. that vibes guy should have a Magma shirt on
3. I'd kill to be musical and be in that orchestra

Yeah, 2 complaints and 1 wish.
