Date seems to have too many meanings for me to be able to pin it down as one.
I always figured, it was that thing were you invite a girl out for coffee or dinner, but you're not actually going out.
Hang on, must mean I have dated then. Ah.

Ah but don't worry Henry, too many kids that shouldn't have kids have kids nowadays, so I congratulate you for not just going around screwing anyone.
Seriously though, doesn't it irk you all these kids that shouldn't have kids have kids?

It always turns into 3 hours for me. :(

I wore all black the day Syd died, but I don't think that counts as straight edge. Oh, and I've never gone on a date! That is totally straight edge and not pathetic.

I was worried about never getting in a real relationship, but it happened in college and, while it was good at first, it developed into the worst thing ever.  Not only did it mess me up emotionally, it brought out an ugly side in my personality.  Breaking up was fantastic, plus I'm optimistic about the future.

Err, I've worn all black quite a number of times too, so yeah, not straight edge.
WTF is a date anyway?
If someone is already your girlfriend and you go somewhere with them, is that a date? I seriously don't get it.
I just know I've had relationships, but I don't know if I've dated as suchConfused
Well Wikipedia tells me wearing black is part of being straight edge, so I was just saying, since I was only joking about being straight edge anyway (except that I do in fact do not drink, smoke, or sex).

A date is not a complex idea in America, maybe it's different down under. ;-)

Harry, you are right, the post count is addictive, and it makes me sad that such a thing still has power over me.

God, now I'm baring my soul to SR...

Ah yes, saw post edit later.
Yes post count is addictive, kinda.
But I ceased to spend 16 hours a day on forum boards about 4 months ago I think, because my severe anxiety has since gone away and I can actually go outside now and communicate with people in the flesh now.

19000

Now, that is embarrassing.

that's too bad, sorry to hear that.  but you need a few of those bad ones to make the "right" one really stand out.

I have so many years to think about all that crap; I'm trying to do my best to just avoid it all.

Hey Pat.
And yes, I'm actually going out of my way this month to become more social and be at this computer less.

Well it was really only 3 days of depression before breaking up, but that's not that bad.  And I suppose I got some insight and experience out of it, so maybe it was for the better.  I also found out that she lied to me, which is more infuriating than anything else, but it wasn't about anything that big so life goes on.

So far I've done absolutely nothing productive. Although I will be going over to Alex's house tomorrow to hang out, so I guess that counts for something.LOL

Maybe I've just had supremely bad luck with girls, but lying has been part of the package for about half of 'emOuch

Hey Pat.  Have you heard any news regarding Izz?  Can we expect a new album from them for 2009?

Yeah man, really great night actually.
I love how that guy I never met just gave me 6 bucks, he payed about 3 times too much for the alcohol I gave him, so was very happy about that.
Best part was when he gave me 2 bucks before he left the party just cos he thought I was a cool dudeBig smileLOL
Gave some girl some of my goon (cheap wine), maybe about 500mls, and now next time she hangs out with me, she is gonna not only replace the 500mls she drank, but buy me a full box of wine.
So awesome, free money, and free alcohol, and get to hang out with a kinda cute girl.

Really don't know at this point.  Their webpage hasn't been updated in ages.  I did get an e-mail from one of the Galganos that they thought they'd have one ready for this year - they've definitely been recording since last summer, but I don't know any current status.
