No you definitely haven't convinced me, the fact that I own 6 consoles (ok I don't use my PSP or PS2 anymore) should ring warning bells that I'm unlikely to use an emulatior, I would rather buy a new console to play the games on it that use an emulator on my PC with my Xbox360 pad. The only emulator that I do use is one which lets me play the old Lucas Arts point and click PC games on my Vista PC (ScummVM).

My wife loves the Wii and has been waiting for Wii Fit to arrive. We got it today(pre-order),she even took off half a day of work to play it.
Before you start the activities you enter your height, age and birthdate. You then step on the pad and it measures your weight, your center of balance and you do four balance tests. It then gives you your body mass index(mine is normal),and your "fitness" age according to all this data.Me and my wife are both 42 and it gave her a fitness age of 54......and mine is 32.
Hehehehehehehehehe......she was actually a little pissed.Women...go figure.
Pretty good game,it has aerobic, strength, balance and yoga mini-games.

For the past 4 days I have been playing Heroes Of Might And Magic III. Nonstop for around 9 hours a night. So addicting.

I just beat Metal Gear Solid 2 yesterday, and it was an awesome game, twisted plot and all. Now playing the third game in the series.

I've managed to buy yet another console, this time it's a Sega Mega Drive (Genesis if you're from the US), already got a small collection of games but I'm not going to be able to have a proper go with it until Thursday afternoon as I need to focus on my exams until then.

I've been out of games to play since beating Metal Gear Solid 3, so I'm still looking for something new to play. I'll probably end up looking through my emulators for something to play since not a lot of newer games look interesting to me right now. But then the best I have is a PS2....

I've only been playing one game for the past few days:
It's much better than I hoped it would be and far more addictive than I was expecting too. I was hoping to play on my Mega Drive a lot over the past few days particularly since I got Phantasy Star 2 late last week and have been wanting to play a game from that series for ages. Hopefully I can drag myself away from Lego Indy for long enough too make some serious progress in PS2. |

I'm still playing Neverwinter Nights 2 and it has ousted Oblivion too easily.

I've been cycling back and forth through Oblivion and Call Of Duty 4 these past couple days. Both great games.

Maybe it's just me but Oblivion and Morrowind have been less interesting to me than I'd hoped. The graphics are fantastic but I prefer a slightly more linear story and don't like to travel around so much. I guess I'm more used to D&D games where you tend to go from one town to the next, completing the majority of side quests on the way to completing the main. Elder Scrolls allows me to travel anywhere and they're a bit overwhelming for me. Plus the quests are simply not as interesting to me as I'd hoped.
Still, they're great games, they just don't excise me as much as I'd hoped. Edited by James - June 09 2008 at 16:35 |

That's my problem with morrowind to, i can't get into the story at all, so i just hop around and kill stuff. Until i realise i have long since messed up the storyline and can't complete the game anymore. Yay! : )

I'll pick up Planescape sometime in the near future if it doesn't get much more expensive and if I have enough spare cash.

Funny, i always call it Torment..
Anyway, masterful game. I bought the box where Baldurs Gate 1, Fallout 2 and Torment was included along with a Torment poster and the usual BG-map.. I'll say that's pretty much a fair trade : ) Torment is definitely one of the games where exploration is made fun, it's like... yeah, addicting. |

Oh no! I am getting cravings for Baldurs gate again.. what to do. I know, "just install it" am i right? But it's not that easy.. i have done almost everything which can be done in that game by now. I guess i still have Soloing BG2 left, but that's not really that fun either. Plus i'm so anal when it comes to Baldurs Gate, i always play the first game first and then import to Shadows of Amn.. which is great fun, plus i try to get them Bronze pantalones with me every time, but it means you can't choose any of the cool classes Shadows of Amn offers..
Any Ideas? All suggestions on crazy challenges are welcome, or i might just start over as a solo mage.. with 4 Hp, killing two kobolds a day. : ) |
