^^ I notice you haven't rated the Martin Darvill album yet, Scott...

That's too bad, he was a nice guy to have around.

I rated it 8.5 out of 10 on progfreak. I haven't rated it here on PA yet. That would require sitting down and writing a review. I've only written two of those in the last 5 months, so I haven't been very active on that end. I do have two reviews that I am supposed to write for artists that supplied albums asking for reviews. I haven't done those yet either.

This morning I used up the remainder of this month's downloads from eMusic and downloaded Electric Skys from Event; Dance of the Flames from Guru Guru; Trying to Kiss the Sun and Stock from RPWL; and Regaining the Feel from Land of Chocolate.
I probably won't have a chance to listen to any of these until I upload them to my iPod which I usually only do after I finish listening to everything that I uploaded the previous time.
I'm currently listening to CD 3 from the Phish Live at Madison Square Gardens on New Years Eve 1995. I started the album yesteday but only made it through the first 2 CDs before I had to run.

Nope. It is 9:53 AM here too, so I have no excuses either. I woke up quite a bit last night which is unusual for me. I usually sleep pretty soundly.

Almost 10 AM here, correct, but I think Detroit is still in the same time zone.

That's a pretty good one, despite my well-advertised non-love of krautrock.

^^I know exactly how you feel...the pressure on one's time (let alone ear drums.. ![LOL](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif) ) to get through all the music out there...
as you may have seen in Recent Purchases, my October CDs have just been unwrapped this last weekend, and I am part way through getting stuck into:
Suspyre: The Silvery Image
The Gathering: How To Measure A Planet?
Sieges Even: Paramount
Communic: Payment of Existence
and
Fates Warning: Live In Athens (DVD)
at the moment, I'm really digging the Suspyre, and getting myself warmed up for their new one... ![Clap](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley32.gif)

Good afternoon all. Coming up to quarter past three in the afternoon here... and I'm seriously flagging. ![Sleepy](smileys/smiley12.gif) Time for a strong tea, methinks! ![Big%20smile](smileys/smiley4.gif) Hehe, krautrock... I used up my last 3 emusic downloads for the month getting Faust (s/t). One of those bands I've avoided for years. I actually quite liked it, I was pleasantly surprised. I think I shall prefer the more quirky/academic type of krautrock than the druggy/dithery sort. Not tried Guru Guru although I've been told the drummer is very good - what's it like?

Not at all, Jared, it was an excellent guess - Detroit is pretty far west of here, and is not too far from Chicago, which is the next time zone.

Afternoon Melissa - not sure what you would think of Guru Guru, that album in particular has a bit of "jam band" feel, very bluesy IMO. |
Hmm, possibly not my sort of thing then... still, you never know until you try. I'll have to give 'em a listen some day.

I don't mind it, but I don't find myself wanting to play it often. Faust was a bit too much of a mess for me; interesting and crazy, but not in a way that I found particularly enjoyable.
