Went to the local Beefeater we had the breakfast and now well feed. And I’m listening to The Heavy Heavy
The Heavy Heavy create the kind of unfettered rock-and-roll that warps time and place, immediately pulling the audience into a euphoric fugue state with its own sun-soaked atmosphere. Led by lifelong musicians Will Turner and Georgie Fuller, the Brighton, UK-based band breathe an incandescent new energy into sounds from decades ago, transcending eras with a hypnotic ease.
Just wondering if or what to do with the rest of the day.

God dam. Do I wish that I could have this ambient music playing through the background while I’m in the process of going through the whole mixing phase of meeting people in the day to day activities. Then I would be able to cope lol.

A Bandcamp Finding:

Children of the Sün Arvika, Sweden
In 1969 Jimi Hendrix, Joe Cocker, Janis Joplin and many others played the legendary Woodstock Festival. No one since has managed to reincarnate the feeling of nature, soul and rock music, that was on that magical field north of New York, since. Until now. Children of the Sün look like hippies, sound like hippies and they bring a wooden sun on stage. The sunshine comes by itself. tags 70s 70s hard rock greta van fleet jefferson airplane led zeppelin rock woodstock blues folk rock janis joplin.
Flowers:
Debut album
released July 26, 2019
Roots:
13 tracks, 44 minutes.
released March 18, 2022
Inspired by Janis Joplin, Rival Sons and Hozier, Children of the Sün embody both the carefree and reflective sides of classic rock music with folk-vibes. Following their 2018 success in the Swedish music competition Livekarusellen, the band released a self-titled EP and later came under the wing of The Sign Records, joining acts such as Hällas, MaidaVale, Skraeckoedlan, and The Hawkins. In 2019 the band released their first full-length album Flowers which was received with great love from the audience and the vinyl sold out just a few months after the release. They´re now back with their sophomore album "Roots". A album that shows depth and growth to the bands sound.
The Cosmic Trip Advisors Edinburgh, UK:

The Cosmic Trip Advisors hail from West Lothian in Scotland and are a rock ’n’ roll band with a heart of soul. Rock ’n’ Soul, if you will. In their world, Iggy can rub shoulders with Keef, Dolly can pinch Jimi on the arse & Macca can launch a goober at Rotten while Gram hums his approval from underneath a dusty old cactus...it's all good in the gumbo soup. Can you dig it?
Same, same…but different:
Same, same…but different   Live studio performance of Wrong again, Albert...   In a world before the Apocalypse, when bands could meet of an evening in dark fragrant rooms, strewn with crumpled beer cans and ashtrays, overflowing with the charred remains of epic jams and goofy grins, The Cosmic Trip Advisors assembled.   There was little purpose to their gathering (some vague mumblings about trying out new tunes). It was just another rehearsal. But the vibes were good, the creative cogs were lubricated and somebody remembered to press the big kred record button.   And with that simple flick of a switch, this album was born.   It’s a bit loosey. It’s a bit goosey. It’s occasionally a wee bit out of tuney. More importantly, it’s a joyous, swaggering romp through the entire “Wrong again, Albert…” album. There are no 2nd takes, safety nets, overdubs or sneaky cheats. This is what the album would have sounded like if it was recorded at a keg party in an hour with six months more rehearsal under our belt. The icing on the cake is Lesley’s incendiary vocal performance throughout. If you loved her singing on “Wrong again, Albert…”, just wait until you hear what she’s pulled out of the bag this time.   This is our debut album’s unintentionally saucy little sister. You know, the dirty one you wish you’d met first.   In short, it’s same, same...but different.   Turn it up brothers and sisters. Turn it all the way up!   Cosmically Yours, Lesbomb, El Cap, Tattie, The P Man, 9 Days & Pete The Beat.

A selection of songs about the human condition, designed to soothe the soul and lift the spirits while we collectively tread these troubled waters.
released February 28, 2021 Mixed by legendary producer, KEVIN "THE CAVEMAN" SHIRLEY (Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, The Black Crowes, Joe Bonamassa, Led Zeppelin, Rush etc etc)   I mean, seriously, pinch us!   Mastered by ADE EMSLEY at Table Of Tone Mastering - credits include the new Iron Maiden album that Kevin Shirley produced!   Pinch us again!   The Cosmics are:   Lesley McGonnal - Vocals Mark Thorburn - guitar Ian Tait - guitar Greg Blades - bass Pete Forrest - drums   Other musicians:   Ali Petrie - Hammond B3, Wurly & Piano Jon Mackenzie - slide guitar, pedal steel and bv's Gary Johnston - saxaphone Dougie Thomson - piano Chris Fulton - bass.

Limestone Whale:
Limestone Whale’s self-titled debut album is an eclectic record that combines intense heavy psych blues from the late 60s with driving hard rock elements from the early 70s and floating melodies in the vein of 90s alternative rock. On their first full-length the young and experienced musicians convince with skillful songwriting and an unique and characteristic sound somewhere between the golden era of rock and modern approaches. This album definitely is a breath of fresh air in the growing retro, psychedelic and stoner rock scene and because of its special getup the vinyl version is a highly recommended collector’s item, too! released May 27, 2016 Recorded (all analog and live - except overdubs) at BigSnuff Studio, Berlin, Recorded and mixed by Richard Behrens, Mastered by Emanuele Baratto, Produced by Limestone Whale and Richard Behrens   Cover design/layout by Nikolaus Simml and Markus Schrantz Picture by Christian Illing   released on StoneFree Records (Vienna, Austria)   Clement Hoffer (vocals) Flo Ryan Kiss (guitar) Rene Preiß (bass) Maximilian Brev (drums) tags 70s doom hard rock heavy psych retro rock rock stoner rock alternative rock grunge heavy blues psych psychedelic rock retro

Godzilla In The Kitchen:
Have you ever thought about how really heavy psychedelic, trance inducing rock music should sound like? Godzilla In The Kitchen is a three-piece instrumental rock band from Germany. In 2011 they started their first rehearsals, trying to combine different musical aspects tabled by every single one of them to create a unique mixture of melodical recognizability and rhythmic complexity.
EXODUS:
We are incredibly honored to present you our new album. Some of these songs have been stuck in our heads for 7 years and we are thrilled to finally unleash them on the world! Exodus tells the Story of a somewhat hopefully post apocalyptic future, where humans have to face a monster that they created themselves. released October 28, 2022 Written & Produced by Godzilla In The Kitchen Guitar: Eric Patzschke Drums: Felix Rambach Bass: Simon Ulm Recorded at Kuntergrund & Freakwave Tonstudio Mix & Master by Ali Orhan Coverart by Mario Thieme.

Thumpermonkey London, UK:
A person in space, walking, or adrift, but safe, exploring, freedom, discovery. A clockwork piano contraption, like a giant ballerina box, but turning a big totem pole, around which smart office dressed people slowly dance with dead glazed eyes as a slightly out of tune slow Satie-like Lydian melody loops round. Woadscrivened 05:58 About this album The voice of the genius was heard again:   “See, O mortal, what the efforts of man can accomplish. He has known how to employ the forces of nature, and prosperity has promptly taken the place of desolation. I shall reveal to thee the secret of the power of this people. Science has made them free. They live comfortably to the laws of reason. Impregnated with all noble ideas, they have become the most civilised people on earth. They have known how to avail themselves of the greatest force of the universe – electricity. This has increased the forces of man a hundredfold. This small corner of Asia shows thee what later on the surface of the globe will become.”   From ‘Babylon Electrified’ - recounted by Albert Bleunard (1889). So begins this lost tale of human misadventure; the story of Victorian MP and visionary Lord James Badger, who, under divine instruction almost two hundred years ago, set out to conquer nature and “restore” the civilisations of Mesopotamia with the new power of Electricity. ...fast-forward 140 years... ...to a chance encounter with an illustration from Bleunard’s forgotten book, preserved in the digital archives of The British Library. It beguiles and intrigues our own modern explorer and musical adventurer, Michael Woodman, who has stumbled across it quite by chance while looking for his own spark of inspiration. In the image, a pith-helmeted Englishman is atomized by technology he hoped would transform the canals of the Euphrates, all because he followed the instructions of an angelic visitation. In this promethean moment, Michael and his accomplices in Thumpermonkey are irresistibly propelled forward on their own epic musical journey, The theme of the songs that make up Thumpermonkey's new EP 'Electricity' echoes that of the distant past - the luminous magnificence of human foolishness. Pith helmets remain optional. Little else has changed.
