I am listening to Persimfans on youtube at the moment, and what a thrill it is! Just read Jimīs review of it, and he hit the nail on the head regarding sound and feel. So have a clappie my friendClap

On another note, does anyone here have one of Sensationīs Fix albums? Iīve really been digging Finest Finger lately. That Franco Falsini is a charismatic, although slightly psychedelic dude!

Nothing in relation with RPI, except that I am listennig for the second time in a year a guy that doesn't sing in italian.
Maybe the most progressive album of the greatest living brazilian man in the world : Mr TOM ZE.
This music was written for a ballet. Nothing on your tube (what a pity !). Just samples on amazon. Enjoy.

I have two, and it's interesting indeed. I also like Falsini's 'Fredo Naso' too, which is cool

Question.

Why is Italian Prog so expensive?

I have a small collection of Italian Prog CD's (Alphataurus - Alphataurus, BVC - Italy, Museo Rosenbach - Zarathustra, Osanna - Palepoli, Le Orme - Felona E Sorona, Metamorfosi - Inferno, Murple - Lo Sono Murple, Quella Vecchia Locanda - Il Tempo Della Gioia and Syndone - Spleen, to name them all) and for three of them I've had to go along and fork out over Ģ70 for them.

Although I got the Syndone CD for free because Amazon screwed up.

Am I just not shopping around enough or is there an alternate reason?

1971. VENETIAN POWER. A band from Venezia, with half italian, half english lyrics. The songs in italian are (of course) better. (Vinyl only)

Andrea, some of the prices in Amazon.it are far cheaper than from other sources I've used. Can you check how much delivery is to the UK for a CD please? It would really help. I should learn Italian!

You could try the following which are all good suppliers of Italian prog and while not cheap in comparison to Cd's I order in the UK are nevertheless decent prices  though BTF's postage isn't cheap (5 euros for one but if ordering a few can be reduced per item),

Also check ebay.

Douglars is the best, in my opinion. He has a great choice and ships quickly. Six days from states to France.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE !

Of course it is early, but I can't stay anymore. This period of the year is terrible for a duck. You know ... le foie gras.   My liver and me, we gotta move to another lake.

Hope to see you again next year. Heart

A last song to say goodbye. One of my fav. The lyrics mean so much for me and my people. Listen carefully.

Merry Christmas Pierre and a Happy New Year! You're very late flying south for Winter!

Thanks for all your interesting input in the thread throughout the year.
