I'm sure you'll get to it. It's not that hard, just annoying. Pi can get tedious after a while.

It's pretty simple though once you are taught the concept.

Yea.
But it's still annoying LOL. I like degrees.

Eh, it makes trig a lot more bearable. Although I never memorized the unit circle: I use a calculator and I have memorized the decimal approximations of sqrt(2)/2, pi/6, etc.

Yea, with the exacts and stuff. I like trig though so I don't mind massive decimals, if that makes any sense whatsoever.

You should mind the decimals, they're a lot more annoying to write and less elegant than forms of pi.

It's also perfectly accurate, there is no rounding when using pi.

13 decimal places? I think you're doing math wrong. :|

There's a website with a million digits of pi somewhere, even just the .txt file is huge.

Moanin' is a much more appropriate soundtrack for this terrible book than ATDI or the Indian music I was listening to earlier. Art Blakey was cool.

I can't focus on other things when listening to avant, and anyway it would only taint it. Although I guess noise would put a different perspective on this story.

Oh God, this paragraph.

Established employees passed on the history of Mardell’s daily to newer employees. They loved the telling. By the end of a month a new employee had absorbed enough folklore to speak as an authority on the family. If an employee stayed a month, he stayed forever, or she had babies and returned. (It is now called maternity leave.)

I'm wondering how much of this mundane stuff is based on his life, he did work in a department store for a while. I'm starting to suspect the founder, W. A. Mardell, is a Mary Sue! I'm getting tired from the typing, though: I'm closing in on a few thousand words today and it's getting tiring.
