I would hate to go cold turkey on record shopping. Have you tried setting a monthly budget? I suggest setting a higher limit, as well, so, for instance, you could limit yourself to 50 bucks a month and try to stick to it, but if you really really want to, you can spend up to 75 bucks a month, as long as next month you lower your limit(s) accordingly.

Thanks, Andrew. I don't trust myself to stick to a budget on music buying, tbh, but maybe I should make the effort, like you say.

I'm willing to believe you since you have the mental fortitude to have actually sat through a Torman Maxt album.

Indeed I have... a few times... enough to review it! Which in the prime of my reviewing days was a minimum of 7 listens. It was kind of torturous. Mine was the infamous review that made the internet hate them

Was it for this site? I just surfed your ratings list and couldn't find it.

I think if I re-wrote my reviews some of them would be a lot different. It came to a point where I was only listening to music to criticize it and I stopped enjoying the music. If I do reviews from now on it's going to be out of love only

Here it is. I am not sure i could write a review anymore but I'd never review something unless i really liked it.

I used to be big into Prog Folk, but now I rarely listen to prog at all.
