Dealt with.

There is a way to bulk clean spam, but when someone responds to the topics are left with those people's responses as happened this time (and it is more likely to result in time-outs). Better not to respond, and those may be spam bots, right? In that case they are not conscious entities.

The spam links are still on the PA main page. I don't know why they're still there as they seem to be deleted on the forum. Confused

^ That takes time to update, unfortunately, or still indexed. I guess that is why a bunch of topics were created to try to hide it.

EDIT: It will disappear as people respond to topics in the Prog Music lounge.

Tried responding to a topic, made no difference to the topics on the front page. A new testing topic worked immediately. But when I deleted the topic I made it stopped showing up on the home page, unlike the spam. I deleted the others on mass, then ones with responses, and I think I may need to do it a little differently next time.

and there's the problem of my latest post not showing up on the forum front page in Prog Music Lounge. Ah well, the techie stuff is M@x's domain.
