The fact that Hobbs, Matchett and Buxton came over to NBC Sports was enough to make me feel better about F1 not being on Speed anymore.

And what the hell is up with the McLarens?  Very slow in practice.

Also, remember the name Kyle Larson on the NASCAR side.  Future superstar.

Wow! Kimi! Clap

Gunna try to not get to bent on one race but Ferrari off to a good start, and Kimi looked great. I think it'll be a great year.

Kudos for Sutil. Great strategy pulled off well in his first race back after the year off thanks to that assault thingLOL

I admit I was pulling for Sutil, but when Kimi wins there are no complaints in this town.

Cool

Now that was a good race, I was sruprised to see that both Ferrari and Lotus were faster than Red Bull in race conditions, didn't expect that at all, aprticularly after their easy front row lock out in quali. Those super softs were crap.

Good race at Sebring yesterday, the two Audi's swapped the lead for the whole race and GT was crazy as usual (12 cars fighting for the win).

Congratulations crystal ball man!
Yeah it was surprising to see Red Bull having such a fast car but not being able to manage the tires well. Today it was one of those races won basically by strategy, thumbs up to Kimi and Lotus!
It must be difficult as a driver, you always want to push faster, overtake your rivals etc, driving such a race in which you have to probably hold yourself a bit and just manage to make the required lap times just enough to beat the 3-stop strategy guys must be mentally very hard for the driver.
At any rate it seems that it can be a very interesting championship!

Yeah, I've had some lucky educated guesses but I deff did not have Kimi picked for the win.

Just one race but if we can expect this pace from Lotus and Ferrari gunna be a sick yearBig smile

What was most telling about Kimi's performance for me was that despite him being on much older tyres than the rest he was driving away from the field and set the fastest lap of the race on the last lap.

Yeah this is like the glory days.
Forget what year it was, but McLaren was kind of off the pace and they would just load Kimi to the brim with fuel instead, and still put in great quali times and quick race form!

Shame he was so lazy, and yes McLaren was inconsistent, in terms of talent he's so much better than 1 title.

IndyCar starts again this weekend as well. I'm particularly looking forward to seeing how Simona de Silvestro does now that shes moveed on to KV racing and isnt
held back by a Lotus engine, she was setting top 5 times in testing.

Kubica is also in action this weekend, the Canaries Rally is his first international event since the end of the 2010 F1 season. He ruled himself out of victory
last night but is currently 40 seconds up on a strong field after 3 stages.

Excited about F1 and Indy this weekend (though St. Petersburg is a snooze fest usually).  NASCAR, eh.  Fontana's not usually my idea of good racing.

Listening to the drivers the Gen 6 car isnt their idea of good racing either, seems like NASCAR got it a bit wrong there.

Kubica's out of the Canaries rally, was dominating but crashed on the second stage this morning.

Qualy for Malaysia, I'll be surprised if Massa or Alonso isn't leading into turn 1 tomorrow and with Kimi getting a 3 place grid penalty for blocking Rosberg he'll have a tough job winning again I think.

It was a strange qualy with Red Bull apparenly struggling in Q1 but ultimately doing well in Q3 and the rain appearing.
Besides weather unpredictabilty I would say that this race looks good for Alonso.

Ah yes Indy, damn it I keep failing to watch though I say I will. This year I finally need to do it. Esp after the craziness of last year.

Shocker, Vettel againLOL He's gunna break the pole record surely. Over halfway there already. Would be something if he could top Senna's in a lesser amount of time, opposed to Schumi who topped it over many many years.

Ferrari 2,3! The team is finally back.
after ya know, year and a halfLOL

Ah true!

Though I know there was some question, at least for me, if Massa was 100% "back" in 2010 when Alonso just missed the title.
Obviously the '11 and early '12 cars were off pace.

In my boredom I realized that Alonso fell just a combined 8 points short of being a 5 time champion by now.
Damn, what could've been eh?
