Lots of great pop/prog.  At the mo, although I don't know if it counts, I can't stop listening to Valley Girl by Frank and Moonbeam.  .

 ^ love that one

I'd say 'Back in NYC' though I know it's not considered Pop (got a good amount of airplay in the 80s though for some reason)

I feel like a lot of the choices aren't really a mix of pop and prog. Or am i missing the point?

For some reason I keep thinking repeatedly about Carpet Crawlers as I scroll through the previous posts. Because it's sung throughout, has a very pleasantly conceived melody with good harmonies, and is logically structured, it would fit right at home as a radio track.

I'm Mandy Fly Me - 10cc. That was probably the track that got me started on wanting to listen to music that was different to standard pop songs.

Some of these have probably been said but:

Genesis - Turn It On Again
Asia - Heat Of The Moment
Supertramp - Dreamer/Give A Little Bit, etc.
Pink Floyd - (something like) Arnold Layne
Procol Harum - A Whiter Shade Of Pale
The Moody Blues - Nights In White Satin
Focus - Hocus Pocus

I always thought Argent's "God Gave Rock And Roll To You" was pretty proggy, but not sure.

I'll say if I can think of more Smile

Good one!  KC had very few legit released singles, this is one of my favorites.  It was huge in Chicago at the time.  When they performed this one live, the entire band (except Fripp) sang, it was really amazing!

I'd say turn it on again or follow by Genesis

Although my personal favourite is saving my heart by Yes. Great track!
