whatever it was, I've sold it.

What better to do with your uglies than to earn money with it?

Ah, I recall having a cd from an American punk band called Porn Flakes, which I got from my neighbour. He doesn't like hard music anymore and did nothing with it, so he thought I might like it. I didn't, it was the most horrible piece of sh*t music I ever had in my player.

Hey, you're only supposed to write about embarassing albums that you actually LIKE.

EDIT: Welcome to the forum BTW, I haven't seen you here before.

Yeah. Welcome to the forum, Kaztor. I know you from the rock-cafe forum. Another Zappa fan!

A great album to have familial relations with your woman to.

I have always liked Asia's "Astra"!
Don't ask me why but it kinda grew on me and I liked the cover art!!

Heh, not that I've ever tried it, but the idea did occur to me when I heard it.

So sue me, I own all of Enigma's albums, and with the exception of Voyageur (Eurotechno piece of crap), I like them.

Thanks for resurrecting this thread- I'm always fascinated by music that people are ashamed of enjoying.

Don't tell anyone, but I bought this one of my own free will as well:

Not embarrassed, but after reading this thread I should be...at least here

Harry Connick, Jr. - 'Star Turtle' and 'She'
(maybe I should be embarrassed about still having the 'When Harry Met Sally' soundtrack, though)
Dionne Ferris - Wild Seed / Wild Flower
Billy Joel - Pretty much all the early stuff
I like Genesis all the way up to and including the Genesis album. You know, the one with 'Illegal Alien.' Even a few of the tunes after that were alright. And Phil's early solo stuff was OK by me.
Prince - Dirty Mind & Controversy
And there are still those rare days when my ratty old RATT tapes get pulled out of the cellar and given a look at daylight. Of course I'm alone then.
And I've managed to collect way too many tunes from the 80's new wave fiesta. Sometimes fluff is just fine.

I remember that sometime ago an ex-girlfriend gave me a Backstreet Boys record...   I'm not embarrased at all as I've never liked the thing, but my poor CD player must have suffered a lot...
Don't be a prog-hole, please...

Anything sitting in my rack that I might be embarassed about is either owned by my wife or the kids- that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

[edit] But I am sad to say that my Partridge Family albums have disappeared.

I'm not embarrassed by anything I own, as I am a very open-minded person when it comes to music. There are genres I positively dislike, but others I can live with. BTW, by prog standards one quite embarrassing CD I own might be Eurythmics' Greatest Hits. I don't usually like electronic music, but Annie Lennox's voice is out of this world!

Really, really funny. Not too progressive, though.

Believe me, I like it
