Wouldnt you expect distortion and drums in a metal album, or even a rock album for that matter though? The vocals are where TEH PROGZ come in.

Good point, actually

I don't think they could really fit anywhere other than those two, though.

Yes, but the vocals are clearly metal in style and composition.

Think of it not as a metal album without distortion, but as a neofolk album with metal vocals.

I just can't see Uaral being metal just because of one minute aspect. It would be like calling Dream Theater pop rock solely based on one ballad they wrote etc...

Well, they are interesting at least, and if they don't make into PM, then I can see a move to Prog Folk maybe.

Person, only like one IED actually goes off the whole movie. They just put the explosions in the trailer to get the plebes to watch it..

The third track is f**king amazing. The rest of it is pretty decent too - and it is free.

(Yes, good music, and free Henry)
Meh. I don't think it's very good, but I didn't free self-released music is always bad. I said that finding free music that was worth listening to isn't worth my time and it annoys me that people spend so much time trolling for these minor bands (it seems this is especially a problem with the post-rock people) just because it's FREE.

No that is a fair point, and I admit there is some rubbish free music out there.

Yesh, it does. But if I'm going to work in a library in Helsinki, I guess I'd better know some of it Tongue But interestingly, when I had my apprenticeship interview at Kirjasto 10 last week, I was told that there's pretty much no need to speak Swedish at all. And it's in the middle of the middle of the middle of Helsinki.

I haven't been really disappointed with a free album yet, mainly because I either check out samples or go off recommendations. The worst one I have though is the Icarus The Owl album, they posted here on PA a while ago and I DL'd it out of interest. Basically sounds like really average punk pop with changing time signatures. I don't think I've ever actually listened to the whole thing, though.

You know, I always forget that you actually may need Swedish some places in Finland. LOL

Kind of like the heavier parts of motW's Bath without any softness; not anywhere near as good, but still worth a listen imo.
