I was there last weekend and bought a ton of coffee from Mazzaro and spent some major time at the Body Electric, ate at Lee Roy Selmon's and had brunch at Ricky Ps. It was basically a weekend of legal filings, yoga and food.
I meant to get tea for Alan and Matt at MingMing but forgot.

Bananas, the record store next to Mazzaros is pretty famous. If you're looking for music go there or to their warehouse. I shop there all the time. Also RickyPs was disappointing when i went there not too long ago. Tho the live jazz was great.

I love taking out-of-towners there (to Bananas)! I dropped $300 there on vinyl once. I took MovingPictures/Sock Alex there and he came out with two armfuls.I usually get a coffee and eclair at Mazzaros and then use the "fuel" to do the combing through the stacks at Bananas. I love their dog!! I like to pet it.
I lived over in the Tyrone area, in Stone's Throw, back behind Athenian Garden, which is my all-time favorite St Pete restaurant.
And yea, Athenian Garden is the bees knees. I try going there every so often, but because i go to school downtown i typically get my greek fix from a nice place there.
