Wow, I forgot all about that photo! Chrono Trigger is great, but I've always had a soft spot for the two Lufia games, as well as FFVI, of course. Secret of Mana 2 is also excellent and really pushed the SNES, back in the day. |

I'm currently waiting anxiously for Bioshock to arrive, I'm getting a tad impatient as this is the first game I've ever been really excited about, I looked forward to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Supreme Commander but I was never impatiently staring at my order status on the website I ordered them from.
I've also found a wonderful little collection of retro games for the PSP from EA. It contains the following games:

Lately I've been playing Fire Emblem 6, 7, and 8, but mostly just the latter two.

Dood^, I did that the other month and I was having so much fun, but then I got stuck...I was at the boss of the shadow temple (or whatever...the one where you fight the guy who plays a giant drum and you have to shoot his hands...) well I suck and I can't do it without getting some fairies and fairies ARE SO FAR AWaY! So I gave up.

I was able to beat that game pretty easily when I was 10 or 11.... Didn't care for Final Fantasy XII. The story wasn't very interesting and the characters had no personality or development whatsoever. The world was cool, I even liked the battle system, shame the story/characters were mediocre, which is the essence of a good RPG. X was great, however, despite what many others might think. VI and VII are still my favorites, and I'll be buying IV soon (never even played that one). |

You will not be disappointed in the least. A little birdie delivered something special to my mailbox this morning... Gyakuten Saiban 3: BEST PRICE! It's Phoenix Wright 3 for the DS, the Japanese release, and it happens to have an English option that pretty much contains the English release of the game, complete with English graphics and speech. Shame that the US release isn't until the end of October, and I'll be long done with it before then... |

But I heard that there will be a VII remake for PS3. I think it will be exactly the same, just crazy graphics, new controls, and speech. (that may not be true, though). If that is the case, then I'm definitely going to save up for 2 years and buy a Ps3. EDIT: And by the way, I'm looking for a new RPG to play for the last few weeks of summer. I want one with a really really interesting and layered plot and good characters. Any suggestions? I don't care about controls, graphics, or how long it is, I just want a good story. Any particular system?
If it's for the PS2 and you haven't already played it I would recommend Dragonquest VIII. Edited by TheProgtologist - August 20 2007 at 22:11 |

Yeah, there's definitely some great stuff in it. I think that the Water Temple theme sounds vaguely Avant.
